Bab Al-Kuwait Press Company was founded by Mr. / Khalid Yousuf Al-Marzouq in 1976, and publishing " Al-Anbaa " newspaper was the first one of its project, on 5 January 1976, a daily socio-political sports comprehensive technical newspaper.

Al-Anbaa history is full of continuing effort to achieve the aspirations of the reader, and the demand of field investigations and surveys reflect the reality of political, social and economic that he is keen on, and this approach would reverse the strength of the relationship between the newspaper and its readers at various levels.

Al-Anbaa newspaper has a long experience in the realization of the right word and the commitment to the word credibility, and these situations which were relied upon when exposed in mid-1976 to the bombing of its offices when they were in Sharq area, which had necessitated timely condemnation of the act of evil, a broad and deplored very much.

Since its first issuance, Alanba faced two incidents, throughout its history, which postponed its issuance, since a court ruling had suspended its publication in March 1987, in addition to another court ruling in March 1995, due to the publication of bold dialogues with a number of political figures.

In the course of the brutal Iraqi occupation of Kuwait , its founder, Mr. Khalid Yousuf Al-Marzouq announced that the resistance by the word is no less important than the resistance by durability an weapon, in this manner it was

- as being published from Cairo - the first Kuwaiti newspaper to publish the country news and the citizens concerns of suffering the misery of the brutal Iraqi occupation, being the voice of Kuwaitis to all free world. Alanba continued in the issuance from Cairo until August 1991 then the issuance resumed from the land of liberated Kuwait in the December 21, 1991.

• Al-Anbaa has a network of reporters covering the GCC, the Arab World and the capitals of the world, especially those who has an impact on the world decision making and the United Nations.

• Al-Anbaa held, throughout its history, meetings with kings, princes and heads of states, and was the first in the exclusiveness of certain local and Arabic news.

• Al-Anbaa was always keen on covering the sites of events and wars, including the Iran-Iraq war and the war in the early eighties and the liberation war of Kuwait from Iraqi occupation (Desert Storm) and Al-Anbaa was the Voice of Kuwaitis through the issuance from Cairo.

• Al-Anbaa has a network of workers in various departments, with an estimated number of workers in various departments with 600 employees.

• Al-Anbaa took part in supporting many social activities as it sponsored economic, sports and art conferences and festivals.

• Al-Anbaa occupies the third place among 14 daily newspaper published in Kuwait.

• About 30 thousand visitors a day visit Alanba Webpage, and its readers are of all ages, nationalities and groups from inside and outside Kuwait.
